| Am/Can Ch. Banker's Special Brew, MH ROM CGC, aka Jaeger, was my first vizsla and was purchased as a companion. He proved to be my devoted, loving and constant companion for fifteen years and during that time he became so much more. He introduced me to the sport of dogs. His sweet temperament and desire to please made each venue a joy we tackled and conquered together. It is the field, however, where Jaeger's heart lay. A natural backer and retriever, Jaeger proved to be a hunting dog at heart, earning his Master Hunter title at a little over two years of age and passing in each of his first five tests. Jaeger continued on with this love of the field and was used to guide preserve hunts in the fall and winter seasons in his younger days. There are no initials, however, that can begin to express the wonderful temperament he shared with me every day of his life. . . . I miss him each and every day. I carry and cherish my memories of him in my heart, a piece of which will always belong only to him. |
